  • Natural Helpers' Retreat

    "Hicksville High School Natural Helpers held their annual retreat on October 5th and 6th to train new members. During the retreat, they participated in an hour long More than Sad, Teen Depression training to learn the signs of depression, how to help and talk to each other and how to save a life on October 5th.

    HHS students gaining real world experiences and exposure through their Life Skills Program. Brand new Panera panini, made by the Life Skills' students of Hicksville High School. Students arranged themselves into an assembly line and worked very hard piecing together the Chicken Chipotle Panini. (Click to see more)

  • Graduation 2016

    The high school’s Class of 2016 graduated with their proud families, friends, administrators, members of the board of education and teachers applauding their hard work and celebrating their significant milestone. The beautiful ceremony, held on the back field of the school, featured several motivational speeches delivered to the graduating class as they prepare to close one chapter of their lives and begin another.   • Dr. K's Motown Review

    On Friday April 15, Hicksville High School hosted a performance by Dr. K’s Motown Review. The eleven piece ensemble led by Hicksville High School Alum, bassist Paul Korman, mingled the events of the 19060s-70s America with stories of Hicksville High School. The near capacity crowd was dancing in the aisles to hit songs as if they were on American Bandstand. High School music teacher Ms. Noll and her string ensemble students joined the band for two songs. Another Hicksville Alum Tommy Sullivan, of 1960s band Johnny Maestro and the Brooklyn Bridge opened the show with an upbeat set that concluded with a rousing rendition of God Bless the U.S.A... All the veterans in the audience were invited on stage to thunderous applause. Thank you to the Hicksville Alumni Association for their initiation of this great event. Important Announcements

  • Petitions for School Board Seats Available

    3 seats on the Hicksville School District Board of Education will be expiring on June 30th. Any Hicksville resident interested in running for the 3 year term may pick up a petition from the District Clerk on weekdays from 8:30-4:30 at the school district office. The deadline for returning petitions is April 17.  The New York State School Board Association has provided a document for prospective school board members outlining the Board members' responsibilities and the election process.  For more information, call the District Clerk at 516-733-2104.
