Students in Kindergarten and First Grade had a great time celebrating the 100th day of school on Thursday, February 16th. During the day, the students participated in a number of activities that dealt with one hundred and the place value system. They made necklaces, created 100 Day hats and crowns, used hundreds charts to count by tens, and sang songs about one hundred. They also decorated tee shirts with one hundred stickers and pom poms. The students in the upper Grades also completed writing and math activities that dealt with one hundred.
Needless to say, all of the students had a wonderful time celebrating the 100th day of school and are looking forward to learning a great deal during the remainder of the school year.
